We are a Living History Group based in the Mid-Atlantic Region of the U.S.A. 

We portray units of the 1st Infantry Division, including the 26th Infantry Regiment "Blue Spaders", 701st Ordnance Light Maintenance Company, the 1st MP Platoon, 1st Medical Battalion, 1st Signal Company, 1st Recon Troop Mechanized, and other attached units and personnel.

September 10-11-12

Odessa NY Tactical

Sgt. Genowitz will again be the contact for the Odessa (NY) Tactical September 10-12, 2010.  

 

If you are interested in going, please mail to me a signed waiver of liability form (attached), and a check made out to Scott Thompson for $35.00 by no later then July 24th so we can meet the registration deadline.  I will then send this in with a registration form for the entire unit as one package as requested.

 

You will supply your own shelter, blanks and some meals.

Gettysburg PA

Troops may arrive Fri. to set up for this NPS Event.  Again, this is a living history event.  NO AMMO!!  This is strictly an ETO Event (No Japs or PTO Impressions).  There is a USO Type Dance with live band at the Gettysburg Army Reserve Center Sat, evening.  Porta-Johns and restrooms available all weekend. No Fee

There is at least one local food vendor on site.

Update!! Our unit Mess Hall will be closed during this event!!!

War Memorial Dedication & Parade

Clear Spring MD.

We have started a war memorial in Clear Spring MD. That’s about 15 miles west of Hagerstown. We want to have a dedication on sat. Oct. 2nd. With a parade and to drive some local veterans up to the memorial in old war type jeeps etc. we have 3 or 4 jeeps lined up, but we would like some reenactors to ride with the vets. The event should only take a few hours

Sonestown Heritage Days

October 9-10, Sonestown Heritage Days, Arts, crafts, music, parade, 10:00 AM, Sonestown baseball field, off Rt. 220 (annually, 2nd weekend Oct.)
 

We tentatively plan to participate for Saturday only.  This is something we'll discuss as a group once we find out who is going.
